Privacy policy for Meetie London

Meetie London is provided by Christopher Arthurs, who is responsible for the personal information described below. Contact: eager.tiger.software@gmail.com.
The app
Meetie does not collect or send personal information to the developer. It has no accounts, advertising or analytics, and does not access your location, contacts, photos or advertising identifier. Meeting searches run on your device using the transport network included with the app.
Your settings and search preferences are stored only on your device. You can delete the local copy by clearing the app’s storage. Android backup or device-transfer services may copy or restore these settings; those copies are controlled by your device or backup provider and are not accessible to the developer.
If you choose to search for nearby venues, Meetie asks Google Maps to search using the station name and venue category. Google handles that information under the Google Privacy Policy. The developer does not receive it.
Notifications may show suggested station names, including on your lock screen, depending on your Android settings. Notification permission is optional.
Email enquiries
If you email the contact address, the developer receives your email address and message. This information is used only to respond and manage your enquiry, on the basis of the developer’s legitimate interest in supporting Meetie and its users. It is not sold or used for marketing. It is shared only with the email service provider or where required by law.
Correspondence is kept in an access-controlled email account only for as long as reasonably needed for follow-up or legal obligations, then deleted. You may ask to access, correct, delete or restrict use of your information, or object to its use, by emailing the contact address. You may also complain to the UK Information Commissioner’s Office at ico.org.uk/make-a-complaint.
Material changes to this policy will be published on this page and with the app.
